Go to your Contacts main page (Contacts in the main menu on the left side of the system).
- Search for the name of the duplicated client.
- Select the duplicate contact entries.
- Use the merge option at the bottom of the contacts list (this option appears only after you select both contact entries in the list).
On the 'Client Merge' page:
- Select the contact entry you want to keep (this contact will contain all the merged data).
- Use the merge button at the bottom of the 'Client Marge' page.
IMPORTANT: The system will still keep the merged contact (the one that you do not want to keep) in the inactive clients list. It's a contact emptied of data, with the exception of the name and email address. You can delete it from there after the merge. The system does not delete any contact automatically for you; it leaves that choice to you.
