Is there a way to merge a duplicate opt in client in contacts? For e.g.: They opt in with one free gift and they also are (already) in your system as a prospect?

Yes, you have the ability to "merge" contacts. To do this you will go to CONTACTS > [Contact Name] > Click the MERGE CONTACT button (on the right under the status) > in the pop-up window click the drop down list and choose the contact you want to merge > click the MERGE button.
