Why can't I give my prospects permission to view my pages, forms, documents, etc.

When you setup items like pages, forms and documents to be private and you are giving permissions to them, only the contacts with login credentials and a contact status that allows them to login have the ability to access the client portal and see those private items. The contact categories who can login are the active clients, the hot leads, and the buyers. The prospects and the inactive clients cannot log into the private client website to see private resources.

So, in order for Prospects, Inactive Clients, or visitors at large to see certain pages, forms, and documents, you will need to make these resources public.
