I want clients to login from my external website, but the notifications take them to my Coaches Console site. How can I change this?

When you are using an external website and want your client to login from there, you can edit your notification templates (such as the 'Password reminder' template) to reflect this. By going to My Account > Notification Templates > click the template to edit (i.e. account details, client log entry, password reminder) and where you see the replacement tag $LOGINLINK$ you would replace that with your external website's URL.
