Your Coaches Console System allows you to create a client agreement under BILLING > AGREEMENTS that can be displayed on a secure webpage for your client to review. When your client agrees to the details of your written contract terms, they can click on the "I Accept" button at the bottom of the Agreement page and electronically sign your agreement. Your Console system will place a time and date stamp on the agreement, place a copy of the time/date stamped agreement in your client files, and place a copy of the time/date stamped agreement in your private client portal for your client to access, review and print at any given time during the term of your contract.
An electronic signature is valid and enforceable by law, just as if you had a client sign a physical copy of the agreement in ink, provided that the signature and e-sign process is in compliance with (1) U.S. federal law such as the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (the "ESIGN Act") and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (the "UETA"), (2) similar state laws, including laws in states that have not adopted the UETA (New York, Illinois, and Washington), and (3) the laws of countries other than the United States. The Coaches Console System complies with the ESIGN Act and the UETA. If you or your client is located in New York, Illinois, Washington or a country other than the United States, we encourage you to consult an attorney to ensure that our e-sign process complies with the laws in those states or countries.
