The "Send Now" option in Communicate doesn't seem to work. All my emails using the "Send Now" option are scheduled and are not sent instantly. Could you please explain why?


We did an update to this feature in emails, newsletters and autoresponders in order to make sure that, when large batches of emails are being sent at the same time (hundreds or even thousands), the chance of your TCC system timing out before all the messages are successfully sent was drastically decreased. So now, the way the "Send Now" feature works is that the message is first "scheduled" for all of about 5 minutes (this gives enough of a time frame to allow the batch of messages to be processed). And then all the messages are sent. So, technically the "Send Now" is not instantaneously, rather it will take anywhere from 2-5 minutes before the message is sent.
