How do I change a table in the content editor (i.e. background color, border color)?

For the basic use of a table:

When you desire to insert a table, click on the "Table" icon in the content editor, and select your number of rows and columns, and your table will appear.

To change the properties of the table click once in the table (so you see the corner selectors), click the "Table" icon, click "Table Properties"

There are two tabs for the table: "General" and "Advanced".

Use the "General" tab for basic setup of your table (width, height, text spacing, alignment).

Use the "Advanced" tab for colors:

  1. Click the box next to background/border color,
  2. A pop-up color box will appear, choose your desired color,
  3. Click "OK",
  4. Click "OK" again to save your table changes.

While the editor has the table options, for more advanced settings you may need the advice of a designer.
