If you have the Double Opt-In Confirmation feature turned on in your Communication Settings, then it is possible that the person did not confirm their subscription by clicking the link in the email they receive after subscribing the first time. If so, you can find their email address and name in the Reports tab (left main menu) > Unconfirmed Emails report. You can resend them the double opt-in confirmation from there if you want to (with "Resend Confirmation" option in the drop-down menu to the right of their entry in the report).
