The session notes for each individual client appointment are taken in CONTACTS > Client Name > Appointments, with the icon “+ Add Note” to the right of the appointment.
In the section “Private Notes” you are writing the notes that are only for you, the coach (not for the client to see).
In the section that follows, titled “Shared Notes” you can write and save the session notes for the client. You can email them to the client by checking the “Send notes to client”. You can also save the notes in the Client Log by checking the option “Copy notes to client log” and saving.
In the case of group appointments, you can go to any of the clients in the group and take the notes in their Appointments tab for that particular group appointment. When you email and/or copy in the Client Log these group appointment notes, they will be sent to and copied for all the group members.
In you want to edit existing appointment notes, you follow the same path as when creating them, make your changes to the notes and save them with the desired settings (for emailing and copying to the Client Log).
